Keira Christina Knightley ( born 26 March 1985) is an English film actress. She began her career as a child and came to international prominence in 2003 after co-starring in the films Bend It Like Beckham and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.

Knightley has appeared in several Hollywood films and earned nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role as Elizabeth Bennet in Joe Wright's 2005 adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. Two years later she again was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, as well as the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Atonement.

In 2008, Forbes claimed Knightley to be the second highest paid actress in Hollywood (behind Cameron Diaz), having reportedly earned $32 million in 2007, making her the only non-American person on the list of highest paid actors or actresses.

Personal life

Knightley, who lives in London, is involved with her Pride & Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend. Knightley has stated she has no plans to be married in the near future. She previously dated Northern Irish fashion model Jamie Dornan.

Knightley has denied rumours she is anorexic, although she did say—after her appearance at the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest premiere led to media speculation that her extremely slender figure was due to an eating disorder—that her family has a history of anorexia. Knightley sued the Daily Mail after they claimed she lied about having anorexia; the article said that a teenage girl died from anorexia, indicating that Knightley's physical appearance may have influenced her in some way. She was awarded a settlement for it. In July 2006, Knightley said she has become a workaholic, detailing that "the last five years have blended into one. I can't tell you what was last year and what was the year before" and specifying that she was "working too much" and was "quite frightened that if I continue at this rate I will start to hate what I love," even suggesting that she would take a one-year break from acting to travel and focus on her personal life.

Personal life

Beckinsale and her ex-partner Michael Sheen have a daughter, Lily Mo Sheen (born 31 January 1999). She has reported in interviews that the only time she stopped smoking was while she was pregnant with her daughter Lily. Her daughter has acted, portraying a young version of her mother in most roles, including Underworld: Evolution and Everybody's Fine. During the Underworld shoot, Beckinsale split from Sheen, who was also starring in the film. She became involved with the director of the film, Len Wiseman. In June 2003, Beckinsale became engaged to Wiseman, and the two were married on 9 May 2004 in Bel-Air, California. Kate has lived in the United States for 7 years and still has no drivers license, she told Ellen DeGeneres on her show.

Amelia Warner (born 4 June 1982) is an English actress.

Warner was born in Liverpool, Merseyside, the only child of actress Annette Ekblom and Welsh-born actor Alun Lewis. Her paternal uncle is actor Hywel Bennett. When her parents divorced, Warner, then four years old, and her mother moved to London, England. Warner studied at the Royal Masonic School for Girls and, at 16, Fine Arts College London. She studied History of art at Goldsmiths College in London. Warner got her start in acting as a member of the Royal Court's youth theatre group. She had a prominent role as a kidnapped schoolgirl in the pilot episode of the BBC hit show Waking The Dead. She also starred in a 2000 BBC adaptation of Lorna Doone and has had supporting roles in recent films such as Æon Flux and Stoned.

Warner was married to Colin Farrell from July to November 2001.

Alice Jane Evans (born 2 August 1971) is an English actress. She is most widely recognised as the wife of Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd.

Personal life

Evans first met Gruffudd during the filming of 102 Dalmatians, while she was in her eight-year relationship with Olivier Picasso, the grandson of painter Pablo Picasso. She briefly enjoyed It-Girl status whilst living with Picasso in Paris and they became engaged.

After Evans broke up with Picasso, Gruffudd went to see his friend Matthew Rhys who was playing alongside Evans in The Abduction Club. Evans gave an interview revealing their relationship shortly before the premiere of Black Hawk Down. Gruffudd stated on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson that he became engaged to Evans in the early hours of New Year's Day 2006 after Evans gave him an ultimatum. They married on 14 September 2007 in Mexico.

Gruffudd removed his funding and support of his largest fansite, IoanOnline.com as a result of comments made about Evans on the site, and elsewhere on the Internet, which angered her. Evans had e-mailed the site's owner to demand that a moderator from the site be banned, as Evans believed she had vandalised her Wikipedia page and had threatened her well-being. Evans has never produced any evidence to support these claims, but the fansite was nonetheless closed on 30 April 2007.

In April 2008, Gruffudd was seen sporting a black eye. At the Welsh Baftas later that month, Gruffudd confirmed that the injury was caused by Evans hitting him with a golf club. Evans herself discussed the incident in a Hello magazine article dated May of 2008.

The couple are resident in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. On 6 September 2009, Evans and Gruffudd welcomed their first child together, a daughter, named Ella Betsi Janet Gruffudd.

Kate Elizabeth Winslet (born 5 October 1975) is an English actress and occasional singer. Winslet made her film debut starring in Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures (1994). She achieved recognition in a supporting role in Ang Lee's adaption of Sense and Sensibility (1995) and her role as Rose DeWitt Bukater in Titanic (1997).

Early life

Winslet was born in Reading, Berkshire, the daughter of Sally Anne (née Bridges), a barmaid, and Roger John Winslet, a swimming-pool contractor. Her parents were "jobbing actors", with Winslet commenting that she "didn't have a privileged upbringing" and that their daily life was "very hand to mouth". Her maternal grandparents, Linda (née Plumb) and Archibald Oliver Bridges, founded and operated the Reading Repertory Theatre, and her uncle, Robert Bridges, appeared in the original West End production of Oliver!. Her sisters, Beth Winslet and Anna Winslet, are also actresses.

Winslet, raised as an Anglican, began studying drama at the age of 11 at the Redroofs Theatre School, a co-educational independent school in Maidenhead, Berkshire, where she was head girl and appeared in a television commercial for Sugar Puffs cereal, directed by Tim Pope.
